Paul ​Chatterton

Paul Chatterton is the lead and founder of the Landscape Finance Lab, a global platform for incubating sustainable landscapes linked to environmental group World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF). Supporting a community innovating on landscape solutions, Paul is an specialist in the fields of sustainability, climate change, land use and biodiversity. During an extensive career with WWF, Paul has catalysed results including the first jurisdictional scale forest and climate (REDD+) programs on two continents, Europe's longest river protected area and the largest rainforest reserve in the Pacific. He co-authored the Little Sustainable Landscape Book and Is co-initiator of Meridia www.meridia.land, a mobile app to provide affordable land tenure to rural communities. Paul is an advisor to the Climate Bonds Initiative on land use and adaptation standards, a member of the Gold Standard land use group, part of the Transformation Leaders Network of the World Economic Forum, a contributor to the Australian Futures Project and a member of the business advisory group on ecosystem services of the Forest Stewardship Council.
